Do the things that interest you and do them with all your heart. -Eleanor Roosevelt
In all my letting go of certainties, I am discovering new inspirations as well as my own words guiding me through my doubts.
I have been having a consistent challenge with my ability to see clearly; vision problems come with living with Multiple Sclerosis. Thus, less posting online and misspellings + missing details when I do post. {What I often see is blurred or like looking through water. It’s a little wacky and requires lots of extra time to publish even the simplest of posts.} This challenge is exacerbated by time on my computer.
- The opportunity: become more efficient with my computer time and the time I have online.
The Art Journaler Facebook page has been deleted; the Right Brain Planner Facebook page is now my main place for posting visual prompts, ideas, resources and links.
Connecting with me via social media:
My social media engagements via Instagram are my some of my very favorites!
- stargardener — journal/planner images, various inspirations from my dailies and frequent sky views
- rightbrainplanner — weekly word prompts posted each Monday
I post art, quotes and links to Twitter via:
- @rightbrainplan — a daily tweet promoting the practice of visual planning + allowing the mundane to become art in business & personal planning
- @theartjournaler — quotations & resource links promoting {no rules//just prompts} art journaling & creative planning as a practice // exploring life as art
- @stargardener — my personal account, and another favorite social media space for connecting and eclectic conversations! {book notes, quotations and random links}
… and I am also resuming the digital collage of Pinterest: stargardener. It is something that can be updated in minutes, and I update these two boards regularly:
★ Having different social media accounts facilitates my own creative process and provides a means of conversation and collaboration {since I am mostly homebound} + the ability to share themed, resource information in a simple, non-time-consuming way. Think: divide and conquer.
If for some reason the snake cannot shed its skin … it will die from its inability to grow. -Elle Luna, The Crossroads of Should and Must
Frankly, the most recent shedding of this skin proved to be an extraordinary challenge. The past month was a true test of my vision for sharing prompts and fostering community online. However, transformation continues to occur and I wholeheartedly embrace this opportunity to cycle through this experience!
In addition to the free prompts and resources provided via Facebook and Instagram, there are new options exclusively for paid subscribers:
- A new Facebook group for Right Brain Planner™ subscribers + additional free downloads and discounts for bound planners and custom orders. A place for questions and answers, sharing ideas and collaborating solutions with creative, right brain planning.
- There is a new option for The Art Journaler subscribers: compiling a themed “yearbook” of their art journaling, facilitated via monthly themes, journal guides, book notes, and journal art. We will meet via a video conference in July to discuss ideas, themes and scheduling for video art retreats.
★ At the heart of these subscriptions is my own wholehearted desire to provide support and service {think: low-cost personal coaching retainer} to compliment your individual process. I dislike the coaching terminology but use it as a means of explanation.
Because {you} are the expert — and {you} are what {you} need. I am simply making myself available if you decide you need a “me, too” affirmation or some ideas for moving through.
{I believe in you} and {the power of your dreams} — and I know firsthand investing time and money into your-self can be a challenge. But I also know having monthly prompts is a means of maintaining progress.
- The Art Journaler monthly journal guide + journal art
- Right Brain Planner™ monthly pages + planning art
The details of our challenges and limits need not define us. We are who we say we are; and we do what we must until we can do what we choose.
Decisions generate a unique energy and I am over the moon with joy!
I will continue art-fully documenting creative ways to live with a lifestyle of intention … and I wish you all the best as you do the same in ways that accommodate your personal style, Braveheart.
The best is yet to come! I am absolutely certain of it!
